This isn't scary but one of them is a duck - sort of...
Orphaned squirrel monkey Loki clings to his toy duck at Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia, Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006. Loki, who lost his mother shortly after birth eight weeks ago, has been hand raised by zoo staff and will be introduced to the rest of the Squirrel Monkey's when once he is weaned and learns to regulate his body temperature. Poor little fella.
At least he has a duck. Hope it doesn't poo a lot, or at least blog about it.
I think ya know what I'm talking about here.
I'm fillin' up....*sniff*
r - I think I do. And it's a scary thought.
tc - Tissue?
What, when you get older you're supposed to ingest less liquids and not be all red-faced and sweaty? Why do they only allow beer to grownups then eh? Eh?
Aaaaaw, cute x 1000!
And the monkey's quite sweet as well!
:)
aaawwww!
IS there such a thing as a badger monkey?
rob - Dude?
misty - The monkey's okay, but the duck! Oh, the duck!
gw - I don't think so, but Paul had plans last spring for a badgkey. Read his April 28, 2005 post at http://blogs.warwick.ac.uk/smalleypaul/newentries/ He doesn't say if he's managed to create one, though.
My God. Is there anything Google can't find?
awwww that IS adorable! I just wish I could hold him!
mr. f - It's darned difficult, huh? Even my wrath softens a bit when I look at that little face.
Now the badger is up for some competition as far as cuteness goes :)
Come to think of it...isn't Loki the Norse god of evil, enemy of the The Mighty Thor?
No, really...
I tagged you! :)
tc - Don't know about Thor, but apparently he and Odin had issues... I've added a link to the Wikipedia entry on Loki to the post.
anna - I'm IT? OHMIGOD! What will I wear? *runs to closet*
Tee hee - Checking your blog now...
