And slightly over two hours later...

After two people shovelled and scooped for slightly over two hours... voila! clear driveway, visible car.

The snow the plow had left at the end of the drive was UP. TO. MY. CHEST. Granted, at 5' 2" that may not seem high to some, but size is relative and when you're the one doing the shovelling that's DEEP no matter what it would be on a tape measure.

They're not predicting anything but flurries for the next two days, then rain. Won't that be sweet.

mr. faboo - Glass of water for Mr. Faboo!

gw - -2.5 C with a -9 C windchill and that's in the day time. Don't mess with the frozen north, dude!

Actually, our temps here aren't as low as on the mainland. It'll occasionally go down to about -15 with a -25 windchill, but that's rare. Mostly it hovers around freezing.

zoe - I knew it. We Snow Queens always instantly recognize each other.

I know you don't want to hear this but I LOVE BLIZZARDS! I'd come and help you shovel if I could. Seriously. (And spring really will come, trust me!)

Ginnie - I love blizzards, as well. I just don't like the clean-up afterwards. And even that has a certain satisfaction to it. My dog especially loves blizzards and literally dances through the snow. Silly Beagle.

Pah, it's just started snowing again here after pouring with rain for a couple of days.

It's not supposed to rain in February. Not even in (just north of) Toronto.

Pah, indeed. It's raining here now. Nothing like rain on top of 40 cms of snow. And then it'll freeze overnight and we'll all be slip slidin' away come morning. Wheee!
