The one that pisses me off at the moment is folk writing "here here!" It's everywhere.
My pet peeve is "try AND do" something. Shouldn't it be "try TO do" something? It's meant to signify an underlying insecurity that the attempted act will be completed. Surely if you try AND do, you not only try it, but you actually do it.
Math? I don't do math. Just ask my bank.
