Wrath: The World Tour
I got this idea from Jana, who posted it on her blog, Pilgrimsteps. If I were to do a Wrath World Tour to have a cup of coffee or tea with all of you, where would I need to stop on my tour (your city)?
What is your favourite local teahouse/coffeehouse (or bakery, yum!)? Sound fun?
To get us started, I'd take you to Coffee Matters, where we'd sip
Almond Zen Latte,
nibble on an Opera Cake
and watch the world go by through the wrap-around windows.
Where would you take me?

If you were to visit Lexington, KY, USA, I'd gladly take you to Common Grounds, where my favorites are the mocha latte and a hunk of tiramisu...
hmmm, there are so many great coffee shops to choose from here and starsucks is not one of them. If you ever come to Victoria, BC, I will definitely buy you a cuppa!!
oh and BTW, did I miss out on #3 of the car rattling story??
We would veer out of civilisation to this little gem
http://www.southwestlife.com.au/enterprise1007.htm
just for the cream doughnuts. Then, obviously, we would have to jog back to civilisation.
The first choice, however, would be MouffeTart, cutely named after the rue Mouffetard in Paris, and as you would expect, sells all sorts of sweet and savoury tarts. With the best coffee.
Oh, there is a loverly little French bakery not far away, (sorry, no pics) with a glass case filled with sweets and a lovely young lady that makes all kinds of liquid delights. We can sit at the tables outside and look down the sidewalk and watch everyone else go into the Starbucks on the corner.
The Wimpy does a nice coffee.
Mmm... Rafina in Reading.
"Egg bacon sausage cheeeeps! Cup o' tea!"
I think we would have to go on a little drive to Stratford, Ontario and visit the original Balzac's. Complete with ivy-festooned back patio, great big antique roasting thingy, and populated with actors, wannabe actors, and other theatre types.
Although there are two in Toronto, the Stratford one would be my choice.
Alternatively, we could visit any one of the Italian coffee shops near my home for jet-fuel quality Espresso, if that's your thing.
When you coming?
I can only offer eggs Benedict with salmon or champagne ham and fine allpress coffees in the independant socialist republic of Grey Lynn.
Eggs Benedict with salmon?
Heaven.
But only 8 stops makes for a very short world tour.
