Men

Men. Even the cute ones, you can't trust to show up when you need them.

Am I doomed to spent the rest of my life alone?

Alone is better than in the company of the untrustworthy...

What Debi said.

I'd love to say you're not along in being alone, but that's no consolation at all, is it? I speak from experience, ha. I'm not going to say all men are jerks either, because they're not. But I say let Kim text the perp in question - we'd all benefit from that!

You could get a cat - Auntie Brenda told me to say that.

Ah, my lovely peeps. You make it all worthwhile.

I was not stood up, he called hours before the event to say he didn't feel well, which may even have been true. He has excellent time-keeping skills and is generally reliable, but he does not LURVE me, so is not compelled to do my bidding.

Also, there are currently (temporarily) three (yes, THREE) cats abiding in my abode. Whilst they are lovely and the LOLs are endless, they are not very accomplished dancers and their table manners are atrocious, so they are not suitable subtitutes for a man date. Then again, neither are any of the men I know.

Oh to be appreciated, eh? That is what cats are for.

Blokes.

They just don't understand us. But they're good at handing out pain-killers.
