Not good, but I expect nothing less from the Harper government.
Gack. Thanks for the tip-off. I was going to send one of the form letters linked from the Walrus and one of the places linked to from there, and then realized (a) I don't understand the issues well enough, and (b) the letters didn't seem to address the major things that worry me about this anyway.
Will give it a slight bit more thought and send something to my MP, though.
